2017 Canada Summer Games

2017 is a historic year for Canadians as we celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday while the Canada Games Council revels in 50 years of hosting competitive multi-sport opportunities for Canada’s elite amateur athletes. In a year-long celebration of sporting achievement, 4000 athletes from all provinces and territories descended on Winnipeg, Manitoba and competed in 16 sports and over 250 disciplines. July 28th – August 13th over 6000+ Manitobans came together to volunteer for the country’s largest multi-sport event and cheer on their favourite athletes as they competed for top spots.
