2002 Arctic Winter Games
KIMIK iT Catches the Hosting Bug!
The basis for GEMS.pro was first laid out in 2001 when KIMIK iT took on the challenge of developing a professional set of administrative and logistical solutions for the Arctic Winter Games 2002 Host Society in Nuuk, Greenland.
At this set of Games we supported the administration of 1,400 volunteers and 1,900 participants competing in 17 different sports. The Arctic Winter Games International Committee expressed that the systems were a success to their full satisfaction and have since then formed a trusted partnership.
