Volunteer administration

When processing the volunteers the systems offer various tools.

• Status code
  A set of status codes are available to apply to the volunteers. Volunteers can be found on basis of their status code. This means that all volunteers with a given status code can be found. The processing needed for that status code can then be done and subsequently the status code for all found volunteers can be raised to the next level.

• Extracts
  The systems contain various extracts from the database that can be made either as comma separated files or Excel spreadsheets. These extracts can then e.g. be used to merge with Word to produce letters to the volunteers.
  Also the systems contain extracts approved by the Canadian and USA authorities to request security clearance of the volunteers

• Doubles
  The systems can produce a list of volunteer registrations where the combination of first name, last name, date of birth appear more than once. This list can be used to find volunteers that have registered more than once.

• Pictures
  The systems can produce a thumbnail view of the pictures uploaded to the systems by the volunteers. This can be used to se which volunteers have not yet uploaded their picture or have uploaded a picture not suitable for the systems.
